Cel mai enervant si mai agasant lucru in campaniile electorale nu sunt studentii amarati care iti bat la usa sa te intrebe de preferintele politice, nici afisele si flyerele care iti infunda cutia postala, nici promisiunile ridicole si nesfarsite ale unor papusi de paie, ghidonate de baieti mai isteti doar cu putin. Nu, pe mine ma scot din minti acele voci echilibrate, de bun simt, acei ambasadori ai Ratiunii care te imping cu un entuziasm artificial sa iti exerciti uimitorul si inutilul drept de a vota, indiferent unde pui stampila. Exista o lista intreaga de argumente solide, pe care le gasiti aici, pentru a nu face efortul prostesc de a alege pe cineva, cu precadere in conditiile actuale.
In schimb, traind intr-o tara saraca, mai toata lumea promite bunastare si prosperitate, insa prea putin sunt aceia care inteleg lectia oferita de Ron Paul in discursul sau de adio. Vorbind despre importanta libertatii in dezvoltarea de inceput a Americiii, congresmanul texan spunea: “a functionat, dar am permis liderilor nostri sa se concentreze pe abundenta materiala pe care o genereaza libertatea, ignorand libertatea. Acum nu mai avem niciuna, dar usa ramane deschisa, din necesitate, pentru un raspuns. Iar raspunsul disponibil se bazeaza pe Constitutie, libertate individuala si interzicerea folosirii fortei de catre guvern pentru furnizarea de privilegii si beneficii pentru toate grupurile de interese”. Fragmentul e foarte relevant pentru ca ne ofera un raspuns concret la propunerea clasica a Marelui Inchizitor si ne avertizeaza ca nu exista libertate fara morala. In cele din urma, asa cum dovedeste din plin istoria tarilor care au incercat solutia capitalista, libertatea devine victima propriului succes, iar oamenii tind sa prefere intotdeauna scurtaturile, adica fara constrangeri morale, care duc pe drumul spre servitute. Asa ca, pana la aparitia vreunui om asemanator pe la noi, sfatul meu e sa stati acasa. |
