Astazi ni se propune o falsa alegere intre doua optiuni care nu reprezinta decat fetele aceluiasi demon in momente istorice diferite. Ceea ce au in comun atat globalistul cat si nationalistul este ideea unui stat ultracentralizat, cu puteri cvasi-totale asupra “cetatenilor” sai. In niciun caz nu se vorbeste de proprietate, de autonomie, de persoane. Ca unul vede capitala la Bucuresti, iar altul la Bruxelles sau New York reprezinta o nuanta geografica, in principiu nu foarte relevanta. Si asta deoarece ambii isi doresc un univers perfect omogen, populat de indivizi predictibili si devotati trup si suflet etatismului national/global. “Internationalismul – consevatorii trebuie sa retina asta- este de stanga doar daca vrea sa instituie o identitate globala, o uniformitate monstruoasa care sa cuprinda intreaga lume. In acest sens, internationalismul nu reprezinta altceva decat un nationalism global” (Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn). Din acest punct de vedere, obiectivul numarul unu al internationalismului contemporan il constituie disparitia ideii de persoana umana. Diferentele locale trebuie sterse, limba trebuie sa fie unica, iar identitatea culturala si religioasa va fi impusa arbitrar de la centru sau voluntar prin televizor. Mai important, in faza globalista, chiar si deosebirea dintre om si animal se pierde deliberat pe parcurs. Ar fi o naivitate sa ne lasam inselati de lozincile contemporane ale diversitatii si multiculturalismului. In fapt, tinta lor o reprezinta abolirea ramasitelor de identitate locala, etnica, culturala si, cel mai important, religioasa. O comparatie cu inceputurile statului national e, cred, lamuritoare. Pentru revolutionarii francezi, de exemplu, biserica reprezenta un dusman intolerabil, deoarece insemna o alternativa spirituala la conformismul ideologic al noilor vremuri. In viziunea globalista contemporana, credinta religioasa trebuie redusa la insignifianta prin mijloacele soft, in prima faza, ale relativismului. ONU, alaturi de multe biserici “nationale”, sustine cu toata forta ideea unei religii mondiale; fostul papa, pe langa multe alte nazbatii eretice, a introdus o statuie a lui Buddha intr-o biserica catolica, exista un consiliu mondial al bisericilor, la noi se da de pamant cu “dogmatismul” si “fundamentalismul ortodox”. Spiritul vremii e ecumenist...Orice sare din norma trebuie egalizat. In acelasi timp stilurile de viata alternativa primesc incurajari si subventii deoarece ele nu reprezinta decat o conformare la standardul antropologic necesar pentru s(t)atul global. Resursele de independenta materiala si spirituala sunt sortite pieirii in noul univers. Pentru o lume noua se cer oameni noi, iar daca ei nu exista trebuie creati prin invatamant. De unde si importanta fundamentala atasata educatiei in proiectul nationalist/globalist. Scolile publice obligatorii erau inexistente pana la aparitia statului natiune. In fine, ca sa nu lungesc prea tare aceasta schita as mai spune doar ca in spatele ambelor proiecte se gasesc acelasi tip de oameni.

Poate parea doar o cautare avida a paradoxului, insa nu exista vreo diferenta esentiala intre globalistul fanatic si nationalistul pur-sange. E o idee destul de veche si familiara multor monarhisti pentru care miscarile de “eliberare nationala” din secolul XIX respirau deja un aer socialist-totalitar inconfundabil, in pofida etichetei de “liberal” atasata stingher politicienilor vremii. Chiar si o scurta istorie a Revolutiei Franceze (cu episodul Bonaparte inclus) dezvaluie transformarea in doar cativa ani a elanului nationalist intr-o orgie a violentei “peste hotare”, acelasi lucru fiind valabil si pentru Revolutia Bolsevica.
