Primul dintre acestea este ca ideile corecte (libertate, proprietate, federalism, isolationism, homeschooling, guvern restrans) conteaza inca, iar oamenii devin din ce in ce mai mai deschisi sa accepte o reintoarcere la vremurile bune de altadata. In al doilea rand, “ultimul liberal” a facut o publicitate extraordinara Scolii Austriece de Economie. In discursul final din Iowa, Ron Paul a transat disputa economica a ultimilor 100 de ani: “Nixon a declarat:"Acum suntem toti keynesieni"Apoi, Ron Paul a demonstrat ca, in ciuda barajului mediatic, puterea democratica a internetului poate produce revolutii virtuale si reale, capabile sa dea fiori establishment-ului. Oamenii au devenit din ce in ce mai suspiciosi la propaganda derulata nonstop de televiziunile si ziarele oficiale, la pretentiile de neutralitate si obiectivitate, astfel ca atentia lor s-a mutat pe noile media. De unde si propunerile frecvente ale mai marilor zilei de a reglementa (cenzura) internetul. Nu in ultimul rand, Ron Paul a oferit un exemplu miraculos de perseverenta, consistenta si coerenta libertariana. Drept rezultat firesc, au aparut emuli care chiar daca nu reusesc sa aiba charisma sau prestanta politicianului texan au capacitatea de a duce mai departe mesajul libertatii, ceea ce nu e putin lucru. Comparati numai cu situatia din Romania, unde orice om de bun- simt este pus sa aleaga intre diverse forme de vid moral si intelectual....

In pofida semiesecului inregistrat de favoritul lor in alegerile din Iowa, nu cred ca simpatizantii lui Ron Paul au motive sa fie tristi. Chiar daca putine se mai pot schimba in acest moment, iar candidatura din partea Republicanilor este departe, venerabilul congresman a demonstrat mai multe lucruri necesare intr-o lume din ce in ce mai blazata politic si moral.
