Ceea ce au in comun cele doua incidente este locul de desfasurare: spatiul public. Public nu doar in sensul de aflat la vedere, ci in sensul de proprietate apartinand statului roman. Din capul locului cred ca putem inlatura anumite neintelegeri, cel putin cele legate de dreptul la libertate. Astfel, daca lectia predata s-ar fi desfasurat intr-o scoala privata, atunci mijloacele de rezolvare a conflictului ar fi fost strict la indemana institutiei respective. Daca filmul cu pricina ar fi fost difuzat intr-un club privat atunci nu ar fi fost probleme de vreun fel, dupa cum nu se intampla in cazul altor vizionari sau manifestari. Statul creeaza prin natura sa probleme a caror solutionare total defectuoasa pica apoi in responsabilitatea unor agentii arbitrare, precum Consiliul National pentru Combaterea Discriminarii. Incapabil din start de neutralitate morala, etatismul da nastere unor dificultati insolvabile, care genereaza in cele din urma conflict social. Netraind intr-o lume dominata de drepturi de proprietate, tot ceea ce putem sa facem este sa aproximam conform unei alte teorii rezolvarea unor astfel de situatii. Iar aici avem doua alternative. Prima dintre ele, imbratisata atat de sustinatorii minoritatilor, cat si de o parte relevanta a majoritatii, sustine rolul direct al statului in stabilirea moralitatii. Pana acum cativa ani, minoritatile erau pedepsite de lege, majoritatea triumfa. Acum, lucrurile s-au inversat partial. Daca majoritatea protesteaza chiar si in spatiul privat, atunci devine datoria statului sa intervina in forta pentru a suprima protestul. De pilda, un panou publicitar privat al unei asociatii crestine a fost inlaturat de Primaria Sectorului 2, dupa ce in prealabil fusese atacat cu vopsea de niste sustinatorii ai miscarii LGBT. Situatia a fost perfect similara cu un alt caz, in care un afis al unei asociatii pentru “drepturile” homosexualilor a fost vandalizat, dupa care a fost ceruta indepartarea sa. In aceste situatii nu poate fi facuta nicio apreciere morala mai consistenta deoarece ambele grupuri se revendica de la un pozitivism legal: ceea ce scrie in lege devine morala si bun simt. A doua alternativa priveste alegerea comunitatii, in functie de contextul istoric si traditia relevanta. Daca ar fi sa avem aceste doua criterii in vedere nu vad de ce am putea tresari la incalcarea unor presupuse drepturi. Tot ceea ce ni se propune, in schimb, sunt concepte vagi precum “disriminare” si “toleranta”, interpretabile la infinit, fara niciun fel de referinta mai solida decat manualele bruxelleze. Sau comparatii sterile cu tarile civilizate din Occident. In lectura pe care o dau europenizatii romani libertatea are sens doar cata vreme se manifesta in directia libertina. Libertatea de a spune nu devine intoleranta si discriminare. In aceste conditii, rezolvare minimala a conflictului o constituie indepartarea cat mai grabnica a statului din viata indivizilor si a alegerilor sale morale. Fiecare om sa se poata desfasura in voie pe parcela sa. In traducere crestina: “toate îmi sunt permise, dar nu toate îmi sunt de folos.” |




Doua conflicte semnificative au avut loc in ultimele saptamani intre sustinatori ai minoritatilor sexuale si reprezentanti ai majoritatii religioase. Primul dintre ele s-a desfasurat la liceul Cosbuc din Bucuresti acolo unde o educatoare a incercat sa tina o lectie de diversitate sexuala. Al doilea a avut loc la o proiectie de film desfasurata acum doua zile la Muzeul Taranului Roman.
