![]() Intr-un final, cand a atins marele oras, marele uragan s-a transformat intr-o furtuna tropicala. Vorba poetului: “Nu e soare, dar e bine/ Si pe rau e numai fum/ Vantu-i linistit acum/ Dar navalnic vuiet vine/ De pe drum”. In cazul de fata, vuietul nu venea de la copiii cu sanii, ci de la reporterii agitati. Si, la un moment dat, au trebuit sa se linisteasca in fata evidentelor tot mai firesti. Aceasta isterie nu a fost doar o competitie tembela pentru ratinguri, intre televiziuni ce se concureaza in a vinde sfarsitul lumii. E si asta, dar nu cred ca primeaza. “Tendinta” ultimilor ani a fost de a crea panica in randul oamenilor din orice, prin orice mijloace, dar mai ales prin mass media si prin superproductii holywoodiene. Si oarecum surprinzator este sa vezi cum viata copiaza filmul. Sau mai precis, cum filmul inspira viata... In anul 2004 a aparut “The day after tomorrow” in care New York-ul se confrunta cu o panica teribila generata de schimbari climatice. Haos, criza si populatie innebunita de a scapa unde vede cu ochii. E imposibil ca cineva care a vazut pelicula si s-a uitat in weekend la televiziunile de stiri sa nu fi remarcat similitudinile de abordare. Afisul fimului prezenta Statuia Libertatii acoperita de gheturi. De asemenea, in acest an a aparut “2012: Ice Age”, o productie relativ similara, macar si prin prisma afisului, aceeasi statuie acoperita de gheata si zapada. Si e la fel de uimitor cat de frecvente si de populare au devenit in ultimii ani filmele apocaliptice. Care nu ataca doar problema climatica, ci si pe cea extraterestra (vezi filme ca Independence Day, I Robot, War of the Worlds, Battle of Los Angeles, Battlefield Earth, etc) recent consacrata de respectabilitatea unui economist cu premiu Nobel precum Paul Krugman si de rapoarte “acreditate” de NASA. Asadar, daca vreti sa urmariti dinainte stirile bomba de maine ale televiziunilor (americane) inchiriati-va cateva dvd-uri cu blockbustere. Nu merita banii, pierdeti cateva ore bune, dar macar veti fi mai calmi la urmatoarea apocalipsa transmisa in direct. |
